The Word of the LORD: 1
Last time I showed how the separation of the seven words of Genesis 1.1 into a 2-3-2 pattern revealed a Star of David. The details are displayed again below. [1]
This opening verse tells us that God created everything that exists. In the prologue of John we are introduced to the word, through which God spoke the universe into being.
In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (John 1.1-3, NIV ‘84)
The very words God uttered to perform this act of creation are recorded in Genesis 1.3.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 1.3, NIV ‘84)
Now we will see why the seven words of the opening verse of the Creation narrative were to be divided to suggest 232: the Hebrew words for “let there be light” are transliterated as Yahi Aur and the Hebrew letters forming this command sum to 232:
Yahi Aur/let there be light = 232
And there is more: the first Biblical reference to God’s word is found a little later in Genesis.
After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a dream . . . . (Genesis 15.1, NIV ‘84)
The Hebrew phrase translated as ‘the word of the LORD’ is Davar YHVH, which also has a numerical sum of 232:
Davar YHVH/the Word of the LORD = 232
So the number 232 is confirming that the word of the Lord spoke the universe into being!
Yahi Aur/let there be light = 232
Davar YHVH/the Word of the LORD = 232
Star of David 937, which the 232 pattern reveals, symbolises Jesus Christ, the Word Incarnate. Along with trefoil 505, shown in my third article (The Watermark), star 937 also suggests our fractal universe, since these two figures are the first steps of the Koch snowflake and antisnowflake. Both figures were derived from triangle 703, value of the last two words in the verse, “and the earth”, earth being the place where Jesus incarnated.
The two verses first containing the two phrases summing to 232, Gen. 1.3 and Gen. 15.1, suggest the numbers 13 and 151. All three numbers form Koch snowflakes, emphasising once more the creation theme.
So we see the fractal nature of God’s Creation encoded into Genesis, the Book of Creation, many centuries before man knew anything of fractal geometry. This profound and meaningful display of foreknowledge makes 232 another important element of the seal of authenticity on God’s Word.
Hexagram 13 is the smallest Koch snowflake precursor that can be formed. 13 is the vaue of the Hebrew words for love and unity, Ahavah and Echad.
Antisnowflake 151 has equally profound meaning, because it relates to Jesus Christ. For now it is enough to know that it is automatically formed inside a larger snowflake, created when triangle 253 is taken two steps towards the Koch Snowflake. [2]
373 is the numerical value of the Greek word Logos, the word of God, incarnated as Jesus Christ and introduced in John 1.1.
In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. John 1.1, NIV ‘84.
It was God’s word that created our fractal universe, so the link to this particularly fine snowflake through the number 373 again speaks loudly and clearly of intelligent design.
Snowflake 373 has been named the Logos Star. Here it is again. [3]
The sum of Genesis 1.1, 2701, has unusual numerical properties. Its only factors are 37 and 73 (ie, 2701 = 37 x 73). Unusually, when 2701 is added to its mirror number, 1702, these digits appear again. [4]
2701 + 1072 = 3773
The number 373, of course, is a contraction of these two numbers, this and its fractal form supporting the Bible’s claim that the creation of the universe was the work of the Logos - exactly what the prologue of John states.
Through him all things were made. Without him nothing was made that has been made. John 1.3, NIV ‘84
To boggle the mind even more, both 37 and 73 are hexagrams and together they form a Star of David, a rare property of reflective numbers (the next pair is 793/397) and even more so when the internal hexagon is also a star (I’ve never found another one).
Can this conjunction of rare and unusual properties - and in the Bible’s opening verse and original words! - really have been dumped there by the winds of chance? Or were they carefully placed by the wind of Spirit?
Seemingly in conscious reflection of these exciting geometries, Genesis 1.1 shows us how to build a shining star-of-stars from hexagrams 37 and 73..
This is another awesome display of the power of God’s word, through which has been created a holographic matrix of pixellated images and numerical wonders. It sat hidden from view for 2500 years, until man had gained the understanding needed to read its delightful, spiritually-nourishing message, of which these posts are the briefest of summaries. The delight comes when we see that this holographic watermark on Scripture, like the holograph of Princess Leia in Star Wars, is coming from a real source and that it has has an extraordinary message for us.
God has given us what amounts to proof of His reality, authority and all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present nature. Only in mathematics and logic can proof be found, so it is no accident that the language of this message is both mathematically perfect and supremely logical, as any proof should be.

Notes
This was discovered by Richard McGough.
The Koch Snowflake is also created by the self-intersection of triangles. This method produces anti snowflakes as internal structure.
Named by Richard McGough, who also found the link between snowflake and word.
37 and 73 are the only two-digit reflective numbers with which this can be done.
